Elias Bahta, M.D.
Dr. Bahta attended Medical School at Jimma Institute of Health Science Ethiopia and his residency at the University of Rome La'Sapienza. Dr. Bahta completed his Internal Medicine residency and his fellowship for Interventional Nephrology at Louisiana State University Health Science Center.
He is an active member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology.
He holds a certification for Advanced International Nephrology, along with having 14+ years of experience in nephrology and having performed close to 10,000 procedures.
Dr. Bahta worked with the University of Michigan for a presentation that was given at the recent ASDIN conference and will be published this year (2023) in an upcoming magazine.
Joshua C. Sysak, D.O.
Dr. Sysak completed his undergraduate work at Duquesne University and his medical school degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Sysak completed his internal medicine residency at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital and his Nephrology fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital. He is an active member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology. Dr. Sysak also teaches at the Washington Hospital with their residency program.
Nirav Patel, M.D.
Dr. Nirav Patel completed his Undergraduate and Medical Education at George Washington University, Washington, District of Columbia. He completed his residency training at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New jersey, New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ. Then continued on at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA for his fellowship training. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Dr. Patel is also certified by the American Society of diagnostic and interventional nephrology (ASDIN)

Karen Glass, BSN, RN, CDN
Karen Glass is the Director of Operations at the TMA Vascular Access Center. She graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She is a certified Dialysis Nurse.
