We strictly follow all of the OSHA standards and are ASDIN certified. We also adhere to all of the HIPAA compliance standards to ensure that our patient data is safe and secure.

Which hospital owns the Vascular Access Center?

The Vascular Access Center is not owned by ANY hospital. It is independently owned and operated by Teredesai, McCann and Associates, a group of 9 nephrologists dedicated to the personal and professional care of our patients.

What insurances do you accept?

Most insurances are readily accepted, we will be happy to review your insurance through our insurance screening to verify it before your procedure.

How long will my procedure last?

Procedures vary from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on your specific needs.

Can I drive myself to my procedure?

We recommend that you be driven, as sedation might be utilized for a procedure.

Will I be asleep for the procedure?

A sedation based on your specific procedure may be given to relax you.

Can my surgeon have a copy of my results?

We are happy to forward your films and procedure notes to your surgeon.

How will I know how to prepare for my procedure?

When you are scheduled for an appointment, you will be contacted by a nurse prior to your procedure with instructions, and any other questions will be addressed at that time.
